Corben Chiropractic is dedicated to helping the wider community with their physical health concerns with the view to improve their performance and quality of life. We achieve this by utilizing our knowledge and skills in treating musculoskeletal complaints and giving guidance in injury prevention.
What we do
The Chiropractic treatments at Corben Chiropractic utilize soft tissue techniques, stretches, mobilizations, and Chiropractic adjustments. The longer than average appointments allow sufficient time to carry out a thorough assessment, give a warm up massage, perform the treatment, and give take home exercises or advice.
What we treat
A wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions can benefit from the intervention of manual therapy including but not limited to headaches, neck pain, lower back pain, sciatica, pins and needles in the arms & legs, sporting injuries, and postural issues.
Who we treat
Our patients include students and office workers suffering from the postural strain of desk work, athletes looking to improve their performance through correcting biomechanics, nurses and carers suffering from the high demands of their job, and the aging looking to maintain their mobility and quality of life.

What to expect
First Visit: When you arrive at the Clinic for the first time you will be given a “New Patient” form to fill out, which will collect information on your presenting complaint(s) and any relevant medical history. You will then be brought through to the treatment room where the practitioner will take a full history and perform a physical examination. If Chiropractic can help with your presenting complaint, and your consent has been given, the practitioner will then provide the first treatment.
Treatment: Treatment may include soft tissue work such as Active Release Technique (ART), Cross Fiber Friction (XFF), and Post Isometric Relaxation (PIR) if required. The Chiropractic treatment will be either gentle non manual adjustments (no “cracking”) such as Activator, SOT Blocks, and Mobilizations or manual adjustments (“cracking”) depending on the patients age, general health, and preference. When the treatment is completed the practitioner will provide some take home exercises and advice to help stabilize the presenting complaint and to allow the patient an active role in their recovery. There will be time at the end of the treatment for any questions or concerns regarding the patients presenting complaint, treatment, and take home exercises.
